Expert Articles
The extended abstract should provide enough details so that the Organizing Committee and Finnish Business Review’s editorial board can evaluate the potential quality of your completed paper and the interest of the conference participants in your presentation. An extended abstract is expected to include the following details in English:
- Proposed area of the paper (Resilient and Sustainable Business Strategies / Digital Transformation, AI, and Data-Driven Management / Inclusive Leadership, Human Capital, and Innovation
- Proposed paper title
- An introduction that specifies the context and motivation of the submission
- A clear description of the specific contributions of your work
- A summary that highlights results. References, if appropriate.
- Must be around 600 words, approximately 2 pages.
- File format: Microsoft Word (doc/.docx).
- Margins: Left, top, and bottom – 20 mm; right – 10 mm.
- Font: Times New Roman, 12-point size, single spacing, paragraph indent – 10 mm.
- Submission should be double-blind, please remove the author information

Publication opportunities: Accepted papers will be considered for publication in the Finnish Business Review, a peer-reviewed journal (A1) focusing on management, strategy, finance, marketing, human resources management, supply chain management, digital business, entrepreneurship, and innovations

Publication opportunities: Accepted papers will be considered for publication in Xamk publication series (D2).
Additional information
- The conference is free of charge. Participants pay for their own accommodation, lunch and conference dinner
- Registration through conference webpage: www.theoryinpractice.fi starting October 20, 2025
- The mode of participation (in person or virtual) is asked when registering
- The work presented at the conference can be a scientific article or a practical expert article
- Submitted papers should be new, i.e., not submitted for review, accepted for publication, or already published elsewhere
- Peer-reviewed proposals and articles are presented in English. Expert articles may be presented in either Finnish or English
- After receiving the article, submissions will be scheduled for presentation in the conference programme in thematic sessions (either in person or virtually)
- Expert articles will be published in Conference proceedings with an ISBN and will be classified as category D2 in the Ministry of Education and Culture’s publication data collection. Peer-reviewed articles will be published in Finnish Business Review’s Special Issue and will be classifies as category A1
